Notice of Public Hearings

Per 65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-6, the Village of South Barrington will post all public hearing notices not more than 30 days and not less than 10 days prior to the scheduled hearing. Public Hearing notices are published in the local newspaper (Daily Herald), in the Village Hall, and on our website. If a public hearing is scheduled related to a variance request, notice will be mailed by certified mail not less than 15 days to all properties within 250 feet on the subject property.

At the public meeting, any interested person or representative of an affected taxing district may be heard and may file, with the person conducting the meeting, statements that pertain to the subject matter of the meeting.

The Village of South Barrington is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend a public hearing and who require certain accommodations in order to allow them to observe and/or participate in the hearing or who have questions regarding the accessibility of the meeting or the Village facilities, are requested to contact the Village Clerk’s Office at 30 S. Barrington Road, South Barrington, Illinois 60010 at (847) 381-7510 to allow the Village to make reasonable accommodations.

PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that the Board of Police Commissioners of the Village of South Barrington, Illinois, voted to adopt amendments and modifications to the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Police Commissioners of the Village of South Barrington. A printed copy of the revised Rules and Regulations may be obtained from the office of the South Barrington Village Clerk at Village Hall located at 30 S. Barrington Road, South Barrington, Illinois. The revised Rules and Regulations shall be effective on the 30th day of August 2022, which is ten days after the publication of the same.
