Administrator Office

The Village Administrator reports to the Mayor and Board Trustees and is responsible with administering and enforcing all policy objectives and ordinances adopted by the Mayor and Village Board. This includes assisting in implementation of items contained in the Village’s annual budget. Preparation of reports and providing recommendations for improving operating efficiencies are ongoing objectives. The Village Administrator often handles and addresses complaints and concerns of residents and visitors to the Village.

Representing the Village at various functions, programs and operations is the duty of the Village Administrator. Often the Village Administrator assists and is involved in purchasing and bidding processes for major items. Coordinating and facilitating the wide variety of municipal services, comes under the responsibility of the Village Administrator’s office. On the development front, letters of credit, planning matters, zoning issues, economic development and utility permits are all items the Village Administrator participates in.
