Municipal Code

The Village’s Municipal Code is compiled of the ordinances that govern the Village. These ordinances are approved by the Mayor and the Board of Trustees.

The website  for accessing  the Village Code is current to the date referenced on the first page. Ordinances that have not yet been codified, are posted at the site, but if you have questions about a specific ordinance, you should contact the South Barrington Village Hall at 847-381-7510.

VILLAGE MUNICIPAL CODE

There are 35 subdivisions, most of which have Homeowners Association with Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions that govern each subdivision in addition to Village ordinances. The CC&R’s are maintained by each subdivision’s Homeowners Association.
