Dear Residents,
The Fourth of July is always special but this year the celebration is even bigger because we are not only celebrating the Fourth of July but also America’s 250th Birthday!
As I have reported in past emails, South Barrington is participating in America250, which is a once-in-a-generation celebration honoring 250 years of our nation’s history, the people who have shaped it, and the communities that continue to write its story. It’s a chance to celebrate our past, embrace the present, and leave a legacy for future generations.
As part of South Barrington’s participation in America250, we invite you to become part of history by signing our South Barrington America250 Flag at Village Hall. Every signature represents a member of our community and will be preserved in a commemorative time capsule as a lasting tribute to this historic milestone.

(Don’t leave Mike hanging😊! He’s suited up for America’s 250th birthday and is counting on you to stop by Village Hall and sign our America250 Flag)

FOURTH OF JULY FESTIVITIES
Part of the Fourth of July festivities is watching Fireworks and there are numerous opportunities for residents to see some spectacular fireworks shows as many neighboring communities will be hosting festive events and professional fireworks displays for residents to enjoy.
As you celebrate, please do so safely and remember that fireworks are prohibited, unless done by a permitted pyrotechnic, within the Village of South Barrington.

We encourage everyone to enjoy one of the many fireworks displays in the area and wish you a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day!
