Spring Brush Pickup (Residents Only)

A special village-wide branch/brush pickup has been scheduled with Cuba Township. Residential brush must be at the curb by 6:00 am on Tuesday, April 28, in order not to miss the collection.
Although it will take several days to complete this project, Cuba Township will make only ONE sweep through the Village. This collection does not include all yard waste, such as leaves, so please read and follow the additional Brush Pick-up Guidelines below to ensure your pickup.
Brush piles are limited to 4 ft. high by four ft. wide and no longer than 10 ft. Yard waste stickers are NOT needed for this special pickup.
Please follow these additional Brush Pick-up Guidelines to ensure your brush is collected:
- All branches cannot be any larger than 8 inches in diameter;
- All brush must be stacked in the same direction when placed at the curb with the cut end facing the road;
- The brush cannot be bagged or tied;
- This service is not intended for full tree removal or lot clearing so tree stumps or root balls will not be picked up;
- Brush left by a tree trimming contractor will not be picked up
