List of Electronic Products to be Banned from Landfill Sites January 1, 2012
Extensive changes to the Illinois Product Recycling
and Reuse Act (PA 97-0287) expands the number of electronic products to
be prohibited from being thrown away in the garbage as of January 1,
2012 from all sources under penalty of law.

The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) continues to provide permanent and seasonal drop off stations as well as one day events. Their at-home program runs from May-Sept.
